Machell Klee Mom to 3, one with Progressive Encephalopathy, Quadripalegia, Intractable Epilepsy
I am a wife to my wonderful and supportive Husband and Mom to 3 amazing
children, each unique and inspiring.
My oldest daughter, Samantha, has Epilepsy. She was born in Nov. 2001 by
August 2003 a status seizure had left her severely disabled. Within 4 months,
dec. 2003, she was up to 4 seizure meds and her seizures had increased to 200 to
300 a day. With the help of food, the Ketogenic Diet, and Chiropractic we were
able to decrease her seizures down to around 20 per day. By May 2008 she was completely free of all seizure medication
It was a long hard struggle, but through that journey we learned how
important it was to trust our instincts and be in the driver seat when it comes
to our health. By educating ourselves we chose more natural foods, high quality
supplements made from foods, and making our home environment cleaner.
We've chosen Shaklee because of their level of testing, their guarantee of
only safe products, and that the product does what it says it does. Raising a
special needs child is very expensive so it only made sense to join Shaklee and
make a little money using and sharing products we love.
It's our passion to help others by sharing the knowledge we have learned on
our journey with Samantha and maybe along the way we can help someone avoid
going through what our daughter has endured
